Westchester County Executive George Latimer is providing a coronavirus update.
  • The number of active COVID-19 cases in Westchester is 8,556. Latimer says the stats are encouraging as it continues to fall.
  • There are now 891 total deaths in the county due to the virus. There were 21 deaths yesterday.
  • Westchester County Center is inactive but ready for overflow COVID-19 patients.
  • More than 80,000 residents have been tested in Westchester. 
  • The American Chinese United Care Alliance (ACUC) donates 20,000 masks, $19,300 in cash, 100 plastic protective gowns and 400 gloves to the county.
  • Two golf courses open this weekend, but there are no plans to open other parks or swimming pools.
