A group of orchestra students came together this week for their first-ever virtual concert.
The ensemble played "Colors of the Wind" from the Disney movie "Pocahontas." News 12 is told the students were practicing the song before the mandatory social distancing order went into effect and the kids said it was nice to play together again.
“I was not expecting it to turn out as good as it did, but I listened to it and I got chills from it. It sounded so good. It was cool playing with them again,” says sophomore Jill Ziegler.
The virtual concert is Warwick Valley High School’s first in its Quarantine Concert series. The next song will be chosen from "The Phantom of the Opera."
