Students at Park Avenue Elementary school in Warwick participated in a virtual Veterans Day ceremony Wednesday morning.

The concert and tribute to servicemen and women replaced the annual Veterans Day breakfast held at the school.

Administration officials say despite the pandemic, students and staff still chose to honor our veterans.

“On behalf of everyone at Park Avenue, I want to thank you for your service and sacrifice,” says Principal Bill Biniaris. “It means a great deal to everyone and you represent the best of us.”  

Warwick students from all grades participated in the virtual celebration. News 12 is told the ceremony was posted on Youtube as a way of saying ‘thank you.’
