Dozens of officials working in Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration have received subpoenas, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The attorney general’s office reportedly sent out subpoenas to top aides, including Secretary to the Governor Melissa DeRosa, as part of the investigation of sexual harassment allegations made against the governor.

The office is requesting documents or another form of hard evidence that could give insight into the investigation.

The report also says that investigators for the attorney general also questioned women accusing Cuomo of inappropriate behavior about their interactions with DeRosa.

Former Cuomo aide Ann Liss, who accused the governor of misconduct, says investigators were trying to figure out if she was targeted by DeRosa.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Cuomo’s administration lawyer Paul Fishman said, “No one should be surprised the attorney general’s office is issuing requests for documents and interviewing witnesses.”
