Family, friends and neighbors came together Friday to say their final goodbyes to wrestler Captain Lou Albano.
Hundreds of people filed into Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home in Carmel to pay respects to Albano, who died Wednesday from heart failure at the age of 76.
Albano is best known for his work with the World Wrestling Federation, first as a wrestler and later as a wrestling manager. Albano also authored several books, appeared in movies and television shows.
Albano leaves behind his wife of 56 years, four children and 14 grandchildren. He will be laid to rest Saturday.
