Dozens of volunteers from Westchester came together Sunday to participate in service projects to finish off the week following Martin Luther King Day.
James Killoran, with Habitat for Humanity, was one of many leading the charge to help others on the MLK Day of Service in New Rochelle.
"We want every kid to have the opportunity to know how good service is," he says.
Another day of service event was held at Larchmont Avenue church.
That event had a focus on showing support for refugees.
