Volunteer firefighters in Rockland County provided veterans with an Easter meal.
Vets came out to receive a token of gratitude for their service Saturday.

Many sponsors, including the Veteran Angels of Hope, came together to prepare the meal bags for veterans and their families.

The meals included a ham, potatoes and different vegetable trimmings.
"This means double and triple because I am also a Holocaust survivor," says Alfred. "So for people to do this, means a lot."
Over 200 hams were given out.
