Residents had their eyes to the skies Sunday at the New York International Air Show.
Thousands of people showed up for the show in the sky high above the Orange County Airport.
The event had a different look this year due to the pandemic. It was drive-in only and moved from larger Stewart Airport to help control crowds.
Vintage airplanes and sleek technological marvels such as the F-22 Raptor Demo Team thrilled event-goers. "I like the tricks that they're doing, going up in the air and coming all the way down," says Yani Daskalis, of Cornwall.
The Royal Air Force preformed for the first time in over a decade, making this year extra special.
The air show on Saturday had to be canceled due to bad weather.
