Ramapo police are investigating an incident where a child is seen running in front of a school bus and then ends up underneath it as the driver pulls away in Monsey.

The incident happened Wednesday near Horton and Bates drives around 8:30 a.m.

A surveillance camera outside the residential area shows when the child runs in front of the bus. The bus drives away, and the child is seen being struck and landing in between the two front wheels.

After a brief moment, someone is seen in the video leaving a house, picking up the child and bringing them inside.

According to an Orthodox online news publication, the child was not seriously hurt.
