12h agoPolice have released the name of the woman who was killed in a motorcycle crash last week in the Town of Cornwall.
Police say a car driven by Kevin Richmond of Highland Mills rear-ended a motorcycle on I-87 between Exits 16 and 17.
It forced the rider, Nidia Nieves to be thrown from the motorcycle.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The state attorney general's office is now investigating the crash after revealing it involved an off-duty member of the NYPD.
