A Santa was stolen from a front yard in Mount Pleasant and police believe it may be the same vandals that trashed other holiday displays around town.
According to police, a 3-foot Santa was taken from a lawn on Whittier Drive late Saturday night. Police say they received numerous reports of vandalism to holiday displays in the same neighborhood over the past week. Police believe the vandalism is the work of teens, but have no suspects yet.
Residents say although they are dishearten by the vandalism, they say it will not dampen their holiday spirits.
