A man is dead after police say he fell off the roof of his house in Valhalla on Monday.

Mount Pleasant police say Filippo Cangialosi, 68, was clearing ice on Stonegate Road when he fell about 15 feet around 2:30 p.m.

Officials say his wife found him in the driveway. He was taken to Westchester Medical Center, where he later died.

Cangialosi leaves behind his wife, four sons and six grandchildren.
