United Airlines is bracing for a record-breaking thanksgiving travel period, carrying more passengers this year than ever before.
United predicts about 5.9 million passengers flying on their planes. They also say the travel period will be longer than ever this year – almost 11 days.
The busiest travel day is the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
