Two teens hospitalized in Bedford crash; one charged with DWI
A high-speed crash in Bedford landed two teenagers in the hospital Friday night.
Bedford police say a car with two teens inside came speeding southbound on Middle Patten Road when the driver lost control and slammed into a utility pole. Police say the 18-year-old driver from Bedford was trapped under the car. The passenger, a Mount Kisco teen, was ejected from the vehicle. The driver is charged with DWI.
Both teens were taken to Westchester Medical Center; there is no word on their conditions. Utility crews worked to restore power and phone service to the neighborhood after the crash.
