Two people were injured in two separate shootings in Yonkers Wednesday night.
Police reported that a man was shot in the arm as a result of a fight that escalated. Then just a few blocks away, 19-year-old Carlos Spadey was shot in the back in the middle of Yonkers Avenue. When police responded they found Spadey lying in the street bleeding. He was rushed to Westchester Medical Center where he remains in serious condition.
Police arrested 16-year-old Sherrod Williams, of Yonkers, in connection with Spadey?s shooting. He was charged with first-degree assault and criminal use of a firearm.
