Five Tuckahoe Police cars need repairs after officers say a man damaged them with a baseball bat Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say 26-year-old Roy Alexander Jr. showed up an hour following a memorial for fallen officers and destroyed a wreath. He then headed to a parking lot where he allegedly smashed five police cars.
Police tell News 12 that this was not Alexander's first run-in with the law.
He's been arraigned on six total counts of criminal mischief. He has since been released.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the incident.
