A flatbed truck rolled over spilling lumber and iron beams at a major intersection in Yonkers Wednesday, snarling rush hour traffic for hours.
Police say the driver of a truck from Rockledge Scaffolding Corporation was making a left turn from Old Nepperhan Avenue onto Saw Mill River Road when his load shifted, sending its contents onto the road. Police diverted traffic as workers from the scaffolding company removed the debris.
Police are waiting to speak to the driver who was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
