The first named storm of the 2014 Atlantic hurricane season is making headlines as the holiday weekend approaches.
Tropical Storm Arthur formed off the coast of Florida Tuesday, and is expected to move up the coast this week before it starts heading out to sea. The storm is already creating some big waves on the Florida shoreline.
A hurricane watch has been issued for parts of North Carolina's coast. Officials say Arthur could become a hurricane by tomorrow.
