A triple shooting in Yonkers has sparked fears of a possible gang war in the area.
Three young men, ages 17 to 25, were shot when someone opened fire into a crowd just before nine Sunday night on the corner of Lawrence Street and Saratoga Avenue in Southwest Yonkers.
The apparent target of the shooting is a local gang known as the Lawrence Street Posse. Sources say this shooting may have been in retaliation to an earlier incident involving the gang.
