A trial is underway for a New City couple whose dogs are accused of fatally mauling two pet goats.
Jason and Lauren Feldman didn't the take stand, but a Clarkstown judge is being asked to decide whether their dogs, named Pink and Ty, should be deemed dangerous for the brutal attack.
The owner of the pet goats testified that she was terrified when she encountered the dogs who traveled 3 miles from their home and jumped over a 9-foot fence to attack her pet goats.
She told the judge that the dogs also killed two other pet goats she had two years ago.
An animal control officer testified that the dogs came to the house because they were likely after the chickens in the backyard.
