A Bronx man who threatened to jump out of a window after allegedly stabbing his common-law wife has been taken into custody.
Police repelled down the side of Rodulfo Jones? apartment building after a 13-hour standoff. Jones, 49, is a traffic agent for the NYPD.
Officials say the stabbing occurred at around 12:30 a.m. Thursday at an apartment building on University Avenue. Police do not know what started the fight.
Officials say the victim is in critical condition at St. Barnabas Hospital.
