Drivers should make sure they’re keeping a slow pace, and provide enough distance between cars on the road. It is advised to allow five to six seconds of following distance between the vehicle in front of you so you can come to a safe stop if the driver brakes suddenly.
In cases of vehicles skidding, it is important to remain calm and ease your foot off the gas as you turn the wheels in your intended direction.
