Tens of thousands were in attendance Monday night for the music festival and fireworks show at the Kensico Dam Plaza.
People were setting up blankets and chairs hours before the event to get a good spot to view the 20-minute show.
The event featured fireworks, live music and food.
A portion of the Bronx River Parkway leading up to the dam was closed just before 7 p.m. Monday, and overflow parking was directed to Clover Road and the North White Plains train station.
Fourth of July celebrations were scheduled for Tuesday night, including a fireworks show at Memorial Park in Nyack.
