The Ovis smart suitcase from ForwardX uses five AI powered cameras to recognize its owner, then electric motors help it follow you around.

ForwardX says it uses the same computer vision technology developed for its warehouse robots.

Just in case the suitcase sees too many people, or its cameras are blocked, it has a backup tracker.

To be flight compliant, smart bags have to have a removable battery, and the company adds in an explainer card in case TSA has any questions about the electronics inside.
