A Somers teen hit the links today to raise money in the fight against multiple sclerosis.
When 15-year-old Jake Lustig heard that former professional golfer Greg Jacobson was raising money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, he organized a golf marathon at the Mahopac Golf Club.
Jacobson, from Connecticut, had his career cut short when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 2011.
Lustig and seven other golfers played all day Monday for pledges to the organization.
The final tally of donations for the day is expected to be around $15,000.
