Teen arrested after shots ring out in Peekskill complex
A 14-year-old boy is under arrest after shots rang out at a public housing complex in Peekskill Tuesday night.
According to investigators, several people got into a fight at the Bohlman Towers on Main Street. Police say the fight escalated and shots were fired, but no one was hit.
Police recovered a 9 millimeter gun and the teen was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon. He was taken to a juvenile facility in Valhalla. However, police say they don?t think the teen is the one who opened fire.
Investigators say they believe the argument stems from a January 29 incident at the housing complex where two men were stabbed. Four people were arrested in the attack, but were let go because police say the victims would not cooperate. Investigators say they are not getting much cooperation from the public with this latest violent incident either.
