12h agoA 15-year-old boy could be facing charges for allegedly firing off shots just steps away from a playground in Poughkeepsie.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Police say they received calls reporting shots fired. When officers responded, two young men took off.
They chased the boys down and recovered a 9 mm handgun on one of them.
The mother of the 15-year-old suspect was notified, and he was released.
