A Roman Catholic church in Tarrytown says its statue of the baby Jesus is missing.
The baby Jesus was part of a nativity scene built in front of Transfiguration church. A woman who rode by Transfiguration Monday said she noticed the baby Jesus missing and at first thought the church's pastor was dismantling the scene after Christmas.
However, when she called the rectory, she was told the church was not taking the nativity scene apart. The church's pastor says he doesn't think the theft was a prank.
