Snow didn't stop construction work on the new Tappan Zee Bridge on Monday.

Work on the new Tappan Zee Bridge hit a milestone, with precast crossbeams for the main span towers being lifted into place.
The precast crossbeams were fabricated in Chesapeake, Virginia, and barged to the project site last week.
They are being lifted into place by the "I Lift New York" super crane, which is one of the few marine cranes capable of doing the job.
It could take a few days to get all the crossbeams in place.
