The Rockland man who dangled for hours 75 feet below the Tappan Zee Bridge was back in court today.

Michael Davitt, of Garnerville, had a very short hearing in Greenburgh Town Court this morning and stood by his previous not guilty plea. However, he says he may be willing to change his plea on a series of misdemeanor charges.

Davitt says the stunt was an effort to bring awareness of the corruption in the Rockland County government, and claims he has proof of state and federal violations at his former job. He says he unfairly lost his drug counseling job with the county and is owed the equivalent of $500,000.

Davitt is due back in court in mid-January.
