Swimming temporarily prohibited at Mamaroneck beach due to Elsa's impact
The Village of Mamaroneck announced that there will be no swimming at the Stephen E. Johnston Beach through Monday because of impacts from Tropical Storm Elsa.

10h agoThe Village of Mamaroneck announced that there will be no swimming at the Stephen E. Johnston Beach through Monday because of impacts from Tropical Storm Elsa.
The beach at Harbor Island Park itself is still open for visitors to walk on and enjoy.
The Westchester County Department of Health made the decision about safety because the area got nearly 3 inches of rain from Thursday to Friday when Elsa impacted the region.
