New surveillance video shows a nursing home patient missing since Sunday getting on a bus.
The video catches 96-year-old Jessie Thompson getting on the M100 bus this past Sunday at 125th Street and Saint Nicholas Avenue. She had left the Jewish Life Care Center on West Kingsbridge Road earlier in the day.
The nursing home's administrator initially told News 12 The Bronx that Thompson does not have dementia. A spokesperson for the nursing home has since corrected the statement and confirmed Thompson does have dementia. When Thompson disappeared, she was not wearing an alarm to notify the facility if she wandered away. The facility says that dementia patients normally wear the alarm.
Anyone who has seen Thompson is asked to call police.
