WHAT'S NEW: Heavy rain ends with showers tapering off from west to east. Skies clear overnight.

WHAT'S NEXT: Sunshine and warm temperatures through the end of the week. Tracking showers and storms late Saturday. Some wet weather may linger early Sunday - watching the forecast closely to fine tune the timing of rain. Overall, it looks like Sunday afternoon brightens up with nice weather for the Fourth of July.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny and nice. Highs near 80. Lows near 64.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and a touch warmer. Highs near 82. Lows near 66.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and breezy. Very warm with highs near 86. Lows near 70.
SATURDAY: Warm with sun and clouds.  Chance of late-day showers and storms into Saturday night. Highs near 84. Lows near 68.
SUNDAY: Showers end in the morning with sun and clouds for the afternoon. Highs near 83. Lows near 67.
