WHAT'S NEW: A temperature warmup is coming to the Northeast heading for Thursday and Friday, with humidity levels on the rise. A chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms is possible Friday afternoon/evening with a cold front approaching.
WHAT'S NEXT: The weekend is looking unsettled with cooler temps, on-and-off showers and breezy northeast winds. Shower chances linger into Monday morning.

OVERNIGHT: Fairly clear skies with mild temps and a chance of patchy fog by the Sound/Hudson River. Lows in the 50s.
THURSDAY:  Some minor patchy fog in the morning then mostly sunny and warm. Highs in 80s. Lows in the 50s.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy, feeling a little humid with a chance of afternoon/evening showers and storms with a cold front approaching. Highs in the low-90s. Lows in the low-60s.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy, breezy winds, scattered showers, cooler temps. Highs in the 60s. Lows in the low-50s.
SUNDAY:  Mostly cloudy with a few batches of some showers along with breezy winds. Highs in the 60s. Lows in the 50s.
