Three camp maintenance workers from Camp Munkatch in Kiamesha Lake were taken to the hospital Thursday due to drug overdoses, Sullivan County officials say.
Witness video sent to News 12 captured the sounds of children crying. Rescuers scrambled to save the three workers around 4 p.m. inside a bunkhouse not far from where children were playing.
Authorities say all three were revived with Narcan and given CPR. They say all are still in the hospital and two of them are in comas.
Officials from the camp had no comment when News 12 reached out to them.
Authorities say the incident is under investigation and that the camp remains open.
So far, no charges have been filed against the workers or camp administration.
