Sullivan County mom struck, killed by alleged drunk driver

State police say 49-year-old Raymond Cammerino was drunk when he struck 39-year-old Tamika Zambrano with his car Wednesday in Bloomingburg.

A young Sullivan County mother was killed while exercising by an alleged drunk driver.
State police say 49-year-old Raymond Cammerino was drunk when he struck 39-year-old Tamika Zambrano with his car Wednesday in Bloomingburg.
Police say Zambrano often exercised along Mamakating Road and was on her evening walk when she was hit and left critically injured alongside the road.
Cammerino was caught and charged with vehicular manslaughter, leaving the scene and DWI. He remains behind bars.
A GoFundMe page has been started to help Zambrano’s parents and 11-year-old daughter.
