Turco Landscaping and Construction’s owner is being praised for offering free rides to health care workers during recent snowstorms.
For the past five years, Jonathan Turco has come to the rescue with free rides for those with no way to or from work.
One of his most recent rides was for a hospital worker during Monday’s brutal nor’easter.
“We’ve been able to help them through the ride. We have the equipment to get through these storms and want to make sure we show appreciation for our first responders,” says Turco. “The smiles and thank yous are enough, so it’s really nice to have it. They’re very appreciative.”
The small business owner says the rides are his way of giving back to the community. He tells News 12 he continues to offer them.
