Students at a Croton Harmon elementary school raised money for a good cause - and had fun while doing it.
The annual fundraiser at Carrie Tompkins Elementary raised money for the American Heart Association.
The top earners for each grade were given the opportunity to put a pie in the face of their teacher or a school administrator while being cheered on by the entire school.
Nearly 150 students registered for the challenge and raised $23,151.52, the most the school has raised in its six years of participation.
