Police are investigating a street fight that claimed the life of a 16-year-old in Newburgh Friday night.James Murchison was found lying on the sidewalk of South Street bleeding from his injuries. He was taken to St. Lukes Hospital for surgery, but died about 4:30 a.m. Saturday. Friends and family gathered in grief at a memorial set up in Murchison's memory. Police are investigating what led up to the stabbing and if the victim was targeted. Police say they believe there are witnesses, although no one has stepped forward. No arrests have been made.
