Animal lovers — a drive to Lillymoore Farm in Pleasant Valley is a one-of-a-kind Road Trip: Close to Home destination for you!
Owner Diana Bellissimo says it’s hard to have a bad day when you’re getting kissed by an alpaca. “It’s a little farm with a lot of love. All of the alpacas that have come on the farm have been born here and have a permanent home here.”
Bellissimo says kids ages 9 and up can pet and feed the soft and lovable animals, and take a stroll with their new furry friend around the farm.
You can book a private or public tour which is capped at 12 visitors at a time. And you get to spend the day with about one hundred animals on 40 acres of land!
The family has recently opened a farm sanctuary called Dreaming of a Chance to rescue and rehabilitate farm animals.  “We have a bachelor pad for the roosters, we have turkeys, we have chickens besides roosters, we have ducks and we’re going to be getting pigeons very, very soon.”
Before you hit the hay, browse the store for some of the most unique, handmade sustainable products made from alpaca fibers!
