Pace University has announced it is drafting plans to resume in-person classes this upcoming fall semester.
This includes safe practices like limiting classroom capacity and remote learning options.
Pace has joined forces with other New York private universities to submit recommendations to the state on how to reopen higher education.
It is expecting to get more direction in the coming month, but in the meantime, while students are hopeful to return in the fall, there are still concerns.
When it comes to elementary, middle and high schools, Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the state will issue guidelines in June, and schools will need to submit their reopening plans by July.
