Orangetown police say a man wanted in the fatal shooting of a Haverstraw man in Nyack was arrested in Maryland Saturday morning.
Investigators say Ryan Franklin, 30, was found with multiple gunshot wounds Friday morning on South Midland Avenue. Jason Jabouin, 33, is now in custody and is facing felony charges.
Authorities have not confirmed the motive or if the men knew each other, but say that residents can rest assured that law enforcement is on the job and protecting the community.
They also have not confirmed when Jabouin will be extradited to Rockland County to face charges.
