Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed an executive order allowing New Yorkers to get married virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The order allows couples to get their marriage license paperwork and clerks to perform ceremonies through video conferencing.
Family law attorney Michael Mosberg says there is now a glimmer of hope for those wanting to say "I do" while in quarantine.

He says that for those who got their marriage license before the epidemic and it expired, the marriage is still valid. Those whose license expired and don’t get married before the emergency ends will have to get a second license, but won’t be charged a fee.
"You're allowing people to move forward with their lives," Mosberg says.
As part of New York's PAUSE order, weddings have been among the wave of events canceled.
