Two Villains in Nyack is serving more than beer to assist the community during the pandemic.
Owner Kelsey Stahl wanted to help society while also allowing the company to benefit in a small way.
Beginning this week, the popular brewery transformed into a pop-up grocery store. The idea to purchase items in bulk and sell individually came from their food distributor, Sysco.
On a weekly basis, consumers can fill out an online order sheet by Sunday and pick up their items the following Wednesday. The option to visit the store in person for extra items up for sale is also available.
Stahl confirmed shoppers are able to get grocery store items such as produce and cleaning supplies without dealing with purchase limits or in-store visits.
“I know they're taking a lot more precautions now, but with people having to go to buy for other families...they're being told they can't. So, at least with this, we can offer everything,” she says.
News 12 is told the brewery is also serving beer to go if consumers want to enjoy a cold beverage.
