Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht has announced that he is recovering from the coronavirus.
Specht says even though his case wasn’t serious, it still hit him hard. “It’s no joke. I had a mild case. I had a high fever for a number of days in a row. I had coughing fits. Shortness of breath. And nausea and fatigue."
While Specht is strongly encouraging others to stay home if they can and practice social distancing, he has some questions about Rockland County Executive Ed Day’s call for the  governor to establish a containment zone within Ramapo.
He tells News 12 that he wants the county executive to clarify its purpose and more details.
