Temporary hospital in Central Park set to hold 68 coronavirus patients

Volunteers worked Monday to set up a temporary hospital in Central Park to help handle the overflow of coronavirus patients.
The east meadow of Central Park at Fifth Avenue and 97th Street has been turned into an emergency hospital thanks to the dedication of volunteers.
Volunteers say there will be several wards that can hold a total capacity of 68 patients. There is also an ICU ward that will hold 10 patients.
Officials say the first patients are expected late Tuesday morning. A large disaster assistance response team with doctors and nurses will be on hand to help out.
The makeshift hospital is only accepting coronavirus patients.
First priority is being given to patients from Mount Sinai Brooklyn and Queens.
