County executives team up to keep residents informed online

Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro and Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan came together to share a new way residents can receive information on the COVID-19 outbreak.
The county executives gave updates and answered residents' questions on the coronavirus pandemic online.
News 12 is told topics ranged from how to pay utilities and rent, status of parks and schools, the possibility of mobile facilities and more.
Both executives hope to make an announcement soon as they finalize website details.
County Executive Molinaro informed the public about a 24/7 homeless shelter in Poughkeepsie. He also encouraged the public to help one another in these trying times and assured civilians it’s okay to be feel emotional.
“We're fighting a battle that we don't necessarily…that we cant see.  We don't necessarily understand it. And it’s OK to feel the way you feel. If that's anxiety, if that's stress, if that's anger -- it is entirely appropriate to feel those emotions. How you channel that is important,” Molinaro says.
The latest information will be posted on each county's website, hotline, and social media outlets.
