A 50-year-old New Rochelle attorney has tested positive for coronavirus.
Westchester County Executive George Latimer said they are investigating how the man, who works at the Lewis and Garbuz Law Firm in Manhattan, contracted the virus.
He apparently became ill soon after returning from Florida.
New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson told News 12 that members of his congregation, Temple Young Israel, have been mandated to self-quarantine.
He says at this stage in the investigation, other locations in New Rochelle don't appear to be a risk.
The patient first went to New York-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville and was then transferred to a Manhattan hospital. Members of that team are now under quarantine.
His wife and two of his children - one a Bronx high schooler and the other a student of Yeshiva University in New York City - are in quarantine in their New Rochelle home.

Yeshiva University said Tuesday that "the student has not been on campus since Thursday, Feb. 27," and a second asymptomatic student, "is in self-quarantine...as a precaution because of contact with the patient's law firm."
Officials say those who think they have the coronavirus should contact their doctor before seeing them so they can safely prepare. They also suggest calling the county help line at 211 for assistance.
This is the second case of coronavirus reported in New York state. The governor said more cases are expected as the outbreak spreads and testing ramps up.
