Residents of a Yonkers apartment building are trying to move forward following a fire at their apartment building Sunday night.
The fire left one person dead and five injured. The fire department tells News 12 that the person who died in the fire was a man in his 60s. His name is yet to be released.
Police say one of the injured people was a man who suffered two broken legs after jumping from a third-floor window.
Flames ripped through the four-story building at 112 Saratoga Ave. just before 8 p.m., as residents, who had no warning, ran for their lives.

The four-alarm fire took firefighters nearly three hours to put out.

The Red Cross assisted displaced families with temporary housing and their basic needs.
