Gov. Andrew Cuomo was in Albany Sunday visiting one of at least 18 Jewish community centers that were targeted with bomb threats across the country.
The threats were sent in an anonymous email, the governor says.
Cuomo visited the Sidney Albert Albany Jewish Community Center, which was evacuated early Sunday and later declared safe.
It's not clear if any of the 18 JCCs in the Hudson Valley area were threatened.
In 2017, a wave of bomb threats targeting Jewish community centers included those in Tarrytown and New Rochelle.
